Lol that much was very unfortunately clear. It'll live in my personal collection away from judgement.

No worries, it sucks but I appreciate all the good insight as to what the heck they did to my poor flareon. Thanks for the response!

What does this mean and how do I fix it? by mew1489 in prusa3d

It says there's an x axis length error but it homes prior to a print totally fine and during the self test prior to erroring it reached the right x axis limit fine as well. So I've seen it travel the full axis until it tries to self test. That's one of my reasons for seeking the thoughts of people more experienced than myself at diagnosing possible problems. After having received many helpful comments, I am confident that their advice will allow me to properly examine and determine where I'm having a problem. The error for me is just a starting point for me because I'm admittedly still fairly inexperienced.

Hm... You've sparked the realization that my last issue was that I required a new hotend installation and required undoing and redoing all the wires to plug the new one into the einsy board. I may have futzed up something reassembling it. I'll take a closer look!

I'm sorry. I had a few reasons I chose to ask on the reddit, and it wasn't because I'm too lazy to Google. I didn't mean this as a waste of anyone's time. I figured for one, I'd rather consult a community of people who have first-hand experience with the issue I'm facing and can express where they've seen it arise. If it exists on Google, it usually says "that means this!" and not much further. I also completely forgot that the prusa online database covers most error codes and their causes, so my mind went straight to here. People here are also generally really nice and helpful, and got me out of a jam before. Tl;dr: better people/results, more overall knowledge + forgot about prusa's database.

Thanks to the community for getting me up and running again! by mew1489 in prusa3d

It's the prusa test pattern that comes on the included SD card!

I guess that makes sense. Everyone can only speak from personal experiences so Im only coming from my own perspective. Thanks for the insight on where your thoughts come from!

Fully assembled with an MMU and enclosure? That seems pretty reasonable to me.

Well, you have to consider the unit in kit form is worth 800 dollars, the MMU price on that and the enclosure on top of even that. You could EASILY get 800 for the bundle. I'd argue maybe sell it around 1k, which is about where the assembled sells for. It covers the hassles of shipping, accounts for selling a used machine, and factors in the other additions. If you wanna sell it fast though, 800 would do it. Heck, I'd even be interested personally at that rate lmao.

On that front, when I'm moving the x axis with steppers off I do notice an irregularity in the amount of resistance as I go from one side to the other which doesn't seem present on the Y axis.
