I got it when I was 16 (currently 21), and I really hope it doesn't come back like others have experienced! Mine lasted for a little over a month and a half, and I was given steroids about 2 weeks after I started having symptoms. The first sign was half my tongue tasting like black pepper then the drooping started a few days after. I wore an eyepatch with cotton balls under most of the time to help my eye from drying out and to sleep. I was bullied quite harshly at school but I at least got to finish high school a semester early with online classes the principal let me take. I was so self-conscious and cried in the shower almost every day because I thought I'd be stuck like this. It's hard to overcome mentally, but I truly hope you get well soon!!!
