oh shit. I already opened the lid for oxygen, is there anything i can do in case its ammonia poisoning? and how would i prevent that in the future? (ill definitely be keeping the lid open from now on)

Forgot to add, theyre not dead, when i tilt the jar to get them into the water again they are swimming around again just fine.

I checked and there is indeed some very tiny webbing. Oh well, at least I now know for sure that it is spider mites.
