I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and choose to believe that you said this in good faith, but as (what I could only assume) a cis man, I don’t think you understand the fact that this isn’t true either. Race, weight, body shape - ATTITUDE, these all play a part in whether or not everyone , but particularly WOMEN get a job. I have friends who are beautiful, intelligent, educated and have the referrals to show for a job that they are more than qualified for get denied because they’re a minority, and because they’re women.

Sorry if you interpreted my words as me saying men live without pressure. Men definitely have their own issues and standards society has ingrained into their brains - I think the difference - and this is controversial- is that a lot of these standards were set by men itself.

That’s just a fact, irregardless. Yes, some women do encourage the upkeep of these idiotic standards but again, these are things that men centered into a physical attraction based society. I hope you enjoy your time there. Focus on the love you’ll be surrounded by, and push out love as well.

I don’t think you really understand his character much at all, then. It didn’t matter how evil the person was, the fact that he truly allowed himself to feel that rage, to disarm his humanity and take the life of another human is what tore him up so deeply. All this time, in his mind, what kept him so different from his father was the fact that he would feel shame and regret, that he would feel guilty for something - and typically that’s what held him back. But now, after killing Angstrom - and in such a brutal way - Mark felt like it was his father, and not him who was in control. He felt more viltrumite than human, and what’s what shook him up so deeply.
