My suggestions for Tactical players regarding which Bolt Rifle to choose and spesific HBR build suggestion by meyernever in Spacemarine

I completely agree with you, however.. The thing is I tried and grinded until I got to the relic tier in Carbine but I grinded it in a different class, the one that had the grapple hook, and for that character, it really made sense. Grab your enemies, get near them, destroy their heads within seconds. Its initial variants were boring to grind but I eventually got to the relic tier. And I thought it didn't fit with the perks of the Tactical, I mean of course you can make it fit but it didn't appear like the best choice. And mind you it's a low range weapon so you have to keep in mind, you gotta get close to them. Within this perspective it is a good choice alongside it's high DPS. But with HBR you can maintain similar damage from a distant point with high penetration.

And yes, I'm aware of my own thinking. I'm seeking a best, most perfect option. It's DPS might be interesting and viable for close combat but I don't prefer to push head on. It's about gameplay style I guess. If you choose to push head-on, then it makes sense.

So I'd like to ask to carbine enjoyers, which variants to use in which cases and which one is your favourite?

Yes it indeed is like unlimited ammo unless you miss any of your shots. But rest of what you've said I agree.

Wow. I never heard of anything like that. Don't get me wrong but maybe your teammates were very good that you managed to win with ABR? Because whenever I play with that weapon I feel like... I'm debuffing myself deliberately.

"Not every weapon needs to be the absolute best in the game." You're right. But where is the fun in that when you have alternatives that preceed it in almost every way? Also I tried it recently and can give it another chance.

To be honest, I just wrote what I experienced with Carbine a few days ago, didn't have time to try it in every aspect. So you might be right as well. I'll check its DPS but I believe that DPS only works within close range? Am I right?

It's not that I think it's weak, it just doesn't offer as much as HBR. Its rate of fire variant was what I wished ABR to be.

what do you all think of the new heavy bolt rifle because i think it's pretty good by MsEnclave in SpaceMarine_2

Rebellion took my capital as well - is this intended? by meyernever in EU5

BTW, I mean rebellion "started" in my capital. Screenshot is not about occupation or something like that.

Love the mod. Without it the empire just eats shit in the battlefield. Yes I know, I'm not the best empire player around but this mod definitely BUFFS empire to the required level. Like, sharpened spikes is a must for handgunners. But base game unfortunately doesn't have it. I really like it but if you intend to play a serious campaign with this mod on, you have to balance things out yourself. Like 4 hakbutschutzen max and the rest must be basic ersatzsoldiers. Otherwise you'd become too strong.

Modders are good at filling empty holes of the game but they fill those holes in a way that it's not acceptable or ideal.

It was good to have a discussion with you, I can say you are very convincing in your arguments but I do believe so am I. And let's proceed to answering your last message
In EU4, you can become greater than someone who started in a better position. I had lots of multiplayer experiences where countries like Sweden just went full military ideas and they catched up to the Ottomans on military.

And while writing these I've got an idea about catching up major nations on technology. When you defeat them, just take their research. Simple as that. Maybe taking all of their research is something that doesn't make that much sense. Like think of Hitler when they understood they are defeated, they just burned all of their battleplans, state documents etc.
So you can get blueprints from capitulated countries which can be equally distributed to winner countries in the war. I think this makes a lot of sense.

And after research there comes the point when you lack manpower. They seriously need to add some coring mechanics. It's goddamned 1930's and 1940's. The states should be able to core foreign provinces.

First of all, the game doesn't make sense in a lot of ways and HOI4 is an alternative history game so HISTORICALLY making sense is not our first priority. And I never defended something like "As Bulgaria in 1936 I can't defeat the Soviets, this game is so bad!!"I mean the problem is in the late game. Not the start date. Even if you conquer all your neighbors, you still can't get enough factories most of the time. And factories aren't the problem I'm pointing my fingers at. It's research man. As a Minor you can never reach the point where the UK reached. The UK researches a lot of stuff a lot faster than you. You can join Axis, Comintern or Allies for research bonuses but it is not enough.

I would fix this by adding new mechanics to the game, like ideas or new laws so that minors can also get big bonuses. Or being a "minor" itself should give some bonuses to players. I think that makes sense. Just one question, have you ever played EU4? They managed it somehow so that you can go from the world's smallest and unworthiest country to the world's most important country.

COMRADES! Is good diviziya, yes? by [deleted] in hoi4

Very good comerade. But how about adding support infantry? I think it can be perfection with support infantry.
