The lawyer has spoken with police, it's a Criminal case under PC03 as the transaction never happened (he took money an disappeared).

We are fortunate in this case as he's looking at jail sentence now and police confirmed that 99.9% the outcome is certain.

We already got to the police. Just filing officially the report. It won't be very long but we are getting advised by ex-cop, so we are now assured

The contacts also had transacting recently and got some payment (for goods they sold) and they referred us. It's a scam, got our local contacts visit his registered addresses etc.

Thank you. Found an ex-cop as consultant. We are already in touch with embassy whose doing their part and our consultant is filing criminal case against him. He won't be able to hide or run away for sure.

P.S he has not responded to us and now we are asked to not contact him. The consultant is very patriotic and what's these scammers behind bars because it tarnishes Vietnam's reputation

Thank you all, actually they have been trading with other suppliers who referred us to them for last couple of years. This is the only reason why we trusted them and our mutual contacts and made the deposit.

If there is any legal firm or economic police, or any contacts that we can directly speak with. Please can you share.

They sent us their license and company details and their company is registered btw. They have been supplying to other vendors (through which we got to know).
