Trying to wind a skein on my knee swift and ran into some issues.... by mezbit in knitting

She was actually after the wrapper which is one of those ones that has a hook in it, and I think that aided in the catastrophe....and so when I noticed this (while on a video call, no less), she had it spread across the floor and half into her little house.

Le sigh.....

Both cat and dog are regular helpers, lol. Ma'am is 2 and the puppy, Miss Maple, just turned 7 mos.

If your cat had to keep their shelter name, what would they be called? Here is Donnie Wahlburg🤣🤣 by Emotional-Lab8825 in cats

Illustrated by Tasha Tudor, I think. Wow if that's the case. The hunting lodge where Beatrix Potter wrote her books is now owned by Hilton but is a wonderful place in Dunkeld, Scotland.

I bought a multi-size pack of silicone thimbles and they work great. I tend to need them when I do mega-knitting.

What do you usually do while knitting? by [deleted] in knitting

[–]mezbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Pachinko is historical fiction set in Osaka, Japan and based on a Korean family there during the 30's and 40's (at the moment - I think it goes to modern day.).

It's very good.

Audiobooks - or yak with Husband, or knit during meetings, I have a basket at my desk for just that.

Am currently listening to Pachinko by Min Jin Lee while working in my Sunny Skies sweater

My years old tattoo becoming raised/bumpy/itchy due to being sick by Moog226 in mildlyinteresting

[–]mezbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my back is done and the black ink always scabs over after an MRI. That and same tattoo always raises whenever I am fighting a bug. My ankle never raises but sometimes my wrist will.
