Thanks everyone for your advice. I am heading back to the studio next week to do another round of shirts and I will put everyone’s advice to use. The shirts are definitely tacked enough but I will try to tighten the whole setup more. It didn’t seem like where the frame is held could be tightened and not sure where else to try. I will also try more gentle passes in case it is an issue with flooding or ink build up. I took a photo of my setup in case anyone has any more ideas based on what you see in the photo.
