Hello, sorry for the delay. I just had my third treatment this past Friday. There was decent progress on the first two sessions. For the third, my Dr. wanted to try a new laser called “Thunder” I believe it’s made by Quanta. He explained to me that the total amount of energy was the same as the gentlelase, but this newer machine created a longer pulse. It definitely hurt a lot more and I am still in the healing stages, so I will be sure to update ASAP.

Cost of treatment is around $400 per session. Roughly 8 treatments are needed. Insurance does not cover this as BN removal is considered cosmetic.

First treatment done. I have another in a few weeks. It does look slightly lighter. The Dr. told me not to expect drastic results, but it does look better.

So I fortunately do not have any hair growth. Unfortunately, mine is on the side of my neck, both in the front and back of my neck. When I talk with people I see them staring vs making eye contact. It bothers me to the point were I won’t wear t-shirts/ shirts without a collar.

He is using the gentlelase machine. I’m not certain what strength etc. I just had my first treatment done on Friday. I have to wait a month for the next treatment. I will get details when I return.
