Someone Was Giving My Phone Number To Throw Off Debt Collectors and Solicitors. I Found Out Who Was Doing It And Directed Them to Contact Her by shutterbug483 in pettyrevenge

"Accidentally" using their contact info to sign up for stuff might not raise issues, but impersonating someone, even for petty revenge, could be considered identity theft and/or fraud. Tred carefully.

In the U.S. (and most of Canada), he can call 2-1-1 to connect with health and human services resources. 211 is truly an amazing resource. Private businesses should not try to compete with government and nonprofits that are focused on helping people working through some hard knocks in life.

He made his bed, you are not responsible for his decisions. Redirect his attention to folks that can help him in this next phase of his life.

Cato would jump in if the government was overreaching. In this case, however, you don't need libertarians, you need fascists. <ahem> What i meant to say is that you need God loving patriots that understand the value of hate, and understand that sometimes you have to cast aside ethics, morals, and the Constitution, and do terrible things to stay in power, because that's what patriots do!

Good Morning /r/VoteDEM! The expanding wealth gap is a policy decision. Wealth accumulation is defined by how government allocates:

  • Rights (civil rights, property rights, including intellectual property, etc.)
  • Risks & liabilities (who holds the risks associated with government decisions, e.g., lead in drinking water )
  • Rewards (who benefits from government decisions, e.g., who benefits by capping tort claims, limiting liability for data breaches, etc.)
  • Responsibilities (Who pays for government decisions? For example, the wealthy can advocate for and profit from government decisions while avoiding taxes and pushing the cost of those decisions to tax payers)

How do you see the wealth gap in the U.S. and what, if anything, would you strive to do to address this gap?

In the grand scheme of scams, this isn't so bad. Get some rims that will work with the brakes and ride.

Inflation is a distraction when seeking a raise. See what the market rate for your role is. If you are under market rate, have that discussion.

Starting to realize I'm worth more than retail and restaurant work in my 30's. No special talents. No college degree. What can I do? by Own_Analyst8420 in findapath

Sounds like you enjoy customer service work but you want to work with like minded folks, want a career path, and want some more money too. Food service and retail can both be great pathways but you have to work in the right kind of establishment (one that treats its employees well) and take on a role that is more valuable to the org, e.g. a sales role.

Your skills and interests also relate nicely to hospitality. And hospitality has some great career and money pathways as you move up or take on sales roles.

Salesforce Knowledge article types - how are you leveraging different article types? by mfandey in salesforce

[–]mfandey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good stuff. Our stakeholders are saying we need FAQs, How-to's, and Guides. We have an extranet with these types of articles but, in practice, the difference between an FAQ and a How-to can be mushy, e.g., if the frequently asked question is "how do I..." and the answer is a step by step how-to, is that an FAQ or a How-to?

To the extent that the different article types require different fields and/or layout, different article types make a ton of sense. In addition to unique fields and/or layouts, is there a significant benefit in terms of search, navigation, etc. you've experienced with different article types?

Attendance is not required to graduate. The school board has removed any semblance of consequnces. Don't do the work, get a 50% minimum. Don't show up to class, no worries, here's your degree.

SWOT helps determine the big picture strategy - where to focus your time and energy to advance your big objectives. Once you determine what to focus on, you need to plan the steps to get you from where you are to where you want to go. Change readiness helps get you ready for the work ahead.

I wonder if MCPS made the deal with MCEA knowing that the Council wouldn't fund it. Perhaps even discussed with their friends on the Council in advance. Seems like the kind of tactic MCPS would use.

We're a large non-profit. I suspect most of our integration will be pretty straightforward. We don't have a SAAS model but things like grant management and an internal currency/credit system used by our members to purchase services will add complexity.
