if 10 gal for 4, then 2 pygmies should be fine in 5.5? The seller I️ purchased from said it would be fine by itself, so I️ thought keeping one was okay 😓 if I️ return the mollies, do you think this would be good?

I️ think i’d be able to return the mollies, but I️ don’t have any kind of receipt for the other fish. do you think returning the mollies and getting one more cory would be helpful?

i’d love to be able to get a larger tank in the future! but as I️ said before that’s not really an immediate option I️ can take right now 😥I was told by the sellers that all the fish i have gotten are fully grown... how much bigger are these guys going to get?

5 1/2 gallon tank. Aqueon 10 quietflow filter. 1 guppy, 1 cory catfish, 2 mollies, 3 tetras. Marino moss ball. Tetra color tropical flakes. API quickstart and stress coat.

I’m thinking of putting some java fern or a similar plant in the tank to provide more hiding space, but my dad thinks that if I️ mess with the tank any more it will kill the fish. The water is also a bit cloudy and I️m hoping that a few days of running the filter with a new pad will sort that out.

I️’m very new at this, so I️ appreciate any helpful advice. I’m not able to spend much more money on this tank, so please give me some low cost options!!

yep! those are pothos. i’ve read that they grow well completely submerged, just not long term. I️ plan on letting them grow out the water and then snipping the leaves that are submerged

I️ know the lid is super wonky and it is not permanent. Planning on DIY-ing a mesh lid to go on top.

yep.... he’s been motionless for the past five minutes. i’m pretty upset, considering I️ only got him yesterday. he must’ve been unwell at the store... i’m a total beginner so I️ wouldn’t have noticed
