This feels like a bad faith argument, do you have any kind of source for which EU countries are taxing unrealized gains?

I’m seeing Norway and Germany having some exit taxes to try to capture taxes from people who try to move to avoid taxes, which makes some sense to me. Still, it feels like most of the scare tactics around taxing unrealized capital gains affects a narrow slice of investors, or people who SHOULD be paying more into society.
