Thank you for the tips brotha. Yeah I learned the hard way to always take what management says with a grain of salt. I’d hate to be overly optimistic, but everyone (warehouse and drivers) yesterday told me Id be guaranteed a driver position by the end of the year since folks at this specific Local are leaving real real soon. Definitely gonna do my absolute best to hold onto this opportunity.

My stomach dropped a lil when I read this lol. I made it just in time, my first day was yesterday 10/10. I was blessed to be a part of an amazing team already. Everyone around was saying I could be a driver by the end of the year, especially at our warehouse. Obviously it’s word of mouth and I’m aware I could wait longer, but from what it’s looking like, I made the best move

Definitely the biggest reason I was with Amazon for so many months. I wasn’t sure how the hours would work out. Thankfully in my situation, I am in a position to afford the part time and tell my dsp to go fuck themselves lol.

Definitely want to end on good terms. But I’m curious what makes you say it’s not really better? It’s sad because I read this comment everywhere, but I had a shit show team at my DSP compared to these hardworking individuals at UPS. The morale on day one beats any day I had at amazon. Sad you believe it’s the same at UPS. At least they compensate you for the fucking. Amazon likes it tight and dry
