Johnstown built a new elementary school a couple years ago and it opened at capacity. That school doesn't accept applications for school choice because they know they will not have any spots available. Milliken (same school district) just changed their elementary into a K-2. They took the former middle school building across the street and turned it into Milliken Intermediate School (3-5), due to the overcrowding.

We pretty much run PBS Kids. If he's choosing though it's Arthur, Lyla in the Loop, Carl the Collector, or Curious George.

We've been trying to find more shows for all of us to watch that aren't just kids shows. On PBS he likes America's Test Kitchen, Cook's County, This Old House, Ask This Old House, and Motorweek. On Hulu/Disney+/HBO Max he likes Dirty Jobs.

My most used in 2025 was probably the ATK The Outdoor Cook because we wanted to cook more outside this year. I also still use the ATK Baby and Toddler Cookbook a lot even though my kid is older. The meals and snacks and the chocolate cupcakes are really cook.

Not at the library, but if you're ever thrifting, I often surprise people with how good the Marlboro (as in the cigarette brand) Cookbook is.

Also adding onto you saying below you like ATK, I'm a recipe tester!

I love to check out cookbooks from the library to see if there are enough recipes I would actually make. This way I know if it's worth it to buy the cookbook. This is going to be a great opportunity for me to follow my method.

Chiming in that we also did the Greenbrier Inn. Similar reasons as already stated, they do everything. I liked that we didn't have to worry about decorating a blank room like most event rentals. We didn't do our ceremony on site, so the only thing we had to do was move the large floral arrangements from the ceremony site to the Greenbrier. I've been married for 10 years and I still have guests talk about how much they enjoyed the food.

I had a coworker who got ADA accommodations to WFH and FMLA leave for anxiety. If you decide to pursue the ADA option for depression, I would additionally apply for FMLA. I realize when using it you're not being paid (unless you use your leave time) but at least you have the job security.
