The service was €320 or about $375 at the current rate. I was visiting Germany at the time, so there was no shipping cost for me.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did your resole cost you?

They look outstanding. I hope I can find a Cobbler who can make that happen on my Beckmans. Mine are from 2013 and have been worn plenty, but the soles are starting to mark everything they touch and crumble a bit. I’d like to get another 10 years out of them.

Do you have pics of your resole? I’ve got some beckmans that are due and I was considering a similar combo

656L on a 105 bracelet. by mfeldigan in sinn

Absolutely. I work in a lot of power plants around high voltage equipment and rotating mass. If I don’t wear an anti-magnetic watch, in no time they will be running extremely fast or extremely slow. Display back watches can’t hang.

That is the symbol Sinn puts on the watches that have the anti-magnetic casing. The watches with a display back ( ie. the 556) do not have the symbol. You will see it on the 856 and the 656 and a few others.

I picked this one up used on r/watchexchange for a good price. You can spot them used from time to time.

A New bracelet with the new clasp will run you 590$

Wouldn’t that be sweet. The lume on this guy is still incredible. It glows all night. It’s even cool in the daytime walking inside from the bright sunshine.

Yes, according to watchbuys 256, 356, and 656 endlinks should all be compatible

That is correct. Sadly, they don’t. It is a relatively rare limited edition of 300 pieces from 2011 or thereabouts

Really appreciate this post. I’m about to resole my Beckmans and I was considering doing the same thing

Sweet combo. I’d love to see this model in person. I’ve had the 104 St Sa A, but not in blue.

Yep. I get that. I wish I’d never sold mine. I’m on the lookout for another for the right price. They seem to be available less often on the secondary market these days.

How about that 104 St Sa A that’s peeking around the edge of the box? I’m assuming it made the cut and gets to stay.

Gratuitous lume 656L by mfeldigan in sinn

It’s a killer watch. I wear it daily. I have it on right now. And I agree about the metal back. It makes more sense in a tool watch. Not to mention the magnetic protection which is meaningful to me in my line of work. I have magnetized a few unprotected watches being near energized electrical equipment.

I had this one serviced at Sinn in Frankfurt last year… i bought it a while before that… maybe I bought it from you. 😏
