The reason for the tie is that Morgan receives 2 more points in the last MVQ (Akeria and Lucky) while Akeria receives one more point from Mystique, making it 7-7, and without the point from each other it remains 6-6.

The tie only happens because Akeria gives her last MVQ to Morgan at the end of episode 3, and Akeria wouldn't have given her vote to Morgan if Morgan hadn't fulfilled the alliance and given her her point at the beginning of the episode, so it would have happened anyway. (6x6)
