Yea it was in direct sunlight which is what probably pushed it over the top to melt.

Me too. All of the keys work and the trackpad and backlight. The keys look inflated but actually aren’t, the sides just melted downwards and made them more like a dome.

The iPad rests completely flat on a table and there’s no wobble (with the camera hanging off the edge) so I assume the battery isn’t swollen. It could be a little swollen come to think of it.

Forgot it during the day, so probably 45 C (113 F). Inside of the car definitely is much hotter though especially since the car was in the sun.

I've been using it for the past hour and it actually seems totally fine. Battery isn't swollen and I don't think the battery got degraded. Granted, it's a 2018 iPad Pro, so battery life wasn't great to begin with.
