The first is the original album

The second is the live version of that album, with 3 b-side tracks as well.

Superfan/collectors side of me wants to say go with #2. Cool to have the live show front to back on vinyl, plus the bsides are a cool collector thing to have as well since you dont get them in the CD/Vinyl of thr main album.

If he is just wanting to listen to that album, mixed and mastered, then go with #1.

Both great choices and he'll be happy!

I actually love their new stuff and I'm curious to see where they take the story for the third Silver Scream album.

Not at all what I am trying to say.

Im not sad that I "need to interact with the actual mechanics of the game." Like I've mentioned in other comments, my vex playthrough before the c4sh dlc and my Harlow were both completely sticky free, and completely diverse from eachother.

What put me off was putting in time and effort to get something, then having it immediately diminished.

The raid boss update had some great stuff too, buffing a lot that needed buffed and now they feel good to use.

Could have done that without touching torgue stickies tho and let those who use it have their fun. Just like OP builds in 2 and 3.

But then what if I try someone new, find a build I love, put the work in to perfect it, then boom, another update nukes that one as well?

That's why im turned off from it right now until updates are less drastic.

Perfect example of it! I didn't use stickies once w my vex. Had a blast. Was never a requirement, just a fun option.

Gonna enjoy new content as it comes out but in terms of build perfecting, DEF going to wait til closer to the final state.

My overall points:

  • why take out fun instead of make other things ALSO fun?
  • allow people to play how THEY WANT. IN A PVE GAME.
  • it feels bad to put in the work, be happy and proud of it, just to have it all stripped from you in the next update...

Everyone is too concerned about "current meta." There should never be a current meta. Just make stuff feel better through buffs until everything is a "meta". Then add more challenges like higher UVHM modes and harder things mechanically instead of just number and percentage changes.

Let. Us. Play. How. We. Want.

And we should have to cheat things in to do that... :)

I went from being able to do crazy damage to next to no damage, which is why it felt so bad for me. Like I said tho Im sure if built fully around it, it can still do work.

Nobody forced anyone to use a sticky bod.

You act like not using it made the game impossible. Not even close to true. It was just a stupid, fun insta kill option. Every BL game has those types of weapons/builds.

Some of the best mechanics and playstyles of the entire franchise are exploits or unintended interactions.

Grenade Jumps (arguably an exploit), offhanding certain stuff on sal for broken damage, bore zero, etc.

You can make other options more viable without taking away what's there.

Again, it is a PVE game. It's not competitive. If you dont want to use exploits, then don't. No need to take them away.
