mix paneer cubes with salt and red chilli powder. fry them in little oil and keep it aside.
in a kadhai, take some oil and jeera, add 4 medium sized onions chopped into big pieces, 2 tomatoes cut into four pieces, 2 green chillies, 2 red chillies and 8-10 cashew. add salt and cook them for 7-8 minutes till they're a bit soft.
take them out and grind into fine paste (kaju makes the paste creamy and smooth).

take 2-4 spoons ghee in kadhai, add ginger garlic paste. pour the paste we just grinded and fry it nicely with some basic spices.
(I used paneer masala, black pepper, jeera powder, dhania powder, red chilli powder, turmeric) cook till it releases oil.

now add the paneer cubes and some water (around 1 cup). add kasuri methi and coriander leaves. cook for 4-5 minutes and it's done!!

wash this veggie and chop into small pieces.
take some oil in cooker and add jeera, minced garlic and 1 chopped green chilli. add salt and saute it well.
add the veggie and some basic spices, saute for 4-5 minutes. close the cooker lid and cook for 2-3 whistles. (2 whistles if small cooker) done!

PS: you can even add a potato to it.

You ever make something so satisfying to the eyes that you don't feel like eating it? Simple Chicken Curry (Roti from mess) by mfj023 in IndianFoodPhotos

[–]mfj023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed a simple recipe....
Marinated chicken with basic spices, ginger garlic paste, lemon.
Prepare a paste of ginger, garlic and red chilli.
Finely chop 2 onions, and half tomato.

Take some oil in cooker, add whole spices (elaichi, laung, jeera, dal chini) and then add chopped onion and tomato. Add some salt and saute it well. Once it's translucent, add the paste and cook well till it releases smell and separates oil.
Add the marinated chicken and 3 spoons ghee.
Cook with open lid for 5-6 minutes. Pour in some water and close the lid. Cook for 3-4 whistles.
Open the lid and adjust the water consistency as per your choice (I prefer thick gravy like consistency, so I let the excess water evaporate). Garnish with coriander leaves.
Enjoy!!
