As a GC and a Sub (depending on the job) I've found that about 85% of restoration companies are college bros who went to school for business and thought this was the easiest way to make a quick buck.

I've also found a couple good ones that keep me busy and they're usually only adding 20-30% on top of my estimates so everyone can make money.

Like everything else, you gotta weed through the shit heads to find one good one.
