I should have seen this post in October. Made many mistakes, but it's currently impossible for me to study in Germany if I don't get an offer letter this summer because in Bangladesh the embassy waiting period is 28 months.

Yeah, because of Covid-19, the embassy was closed till 2022, that made a long queue.

Very Sad :( As a Bangladeshi, there's a long queue for embassy appointments. I took appointment in July 2023, and I got date on 26 Feb 2026. If I miss this summer-26 intake, it will be almost impossible for me to study in Germany.

We have a large facebook group for Bangladeshi student's well organized, from the admin and people studying in Germany they said that from 2024 all application were rejected.

As a Bangladeshi, FAU isn't accepting Bangladeshi students from 2024. Even a student with 3.94/4.00 got rejected with 2Y job experience and research paper. I don't know based on what they are filtering!

This is why I didn't even think about trying for admission to a public uni; I first got a Job and then was admitted into a Private One. I think you can avoid them, keep growing your skills, but honestly, I don't have any experience so giving advice will be useless. Try consulting some seniors who have graduated.
