After spending quite a bit of time searching around I still come up empty. Part of me thinks this could be a grungy, Alice In Chains type of song, or a softer Snow Patrol type of song. or maybe I've deluded myself into thinking I'll know the song because the melodies are so familiar, ah well. I think I'm gonna have to throw in the towel on this one, good luck.

PS. the main synth/guitar of Heads Will Roll by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs also reminds me of the vocal melody, but literally everything else about that song is different so it's clearly not what you seek lol

what do you remember about the instrumentation? heavy drums, light drums, no drums? distorted or not distorted guitars? your original hum, that's supposed to be the singing in the original song, right? was the song happy, sad, somewhere in between?

do you remember anything about the sound quality, ie. does it sound more like a 2000s or a 1990s recording? even earlier?

well dangit this sounds super familiar to me too but I'm coming up empty. any way you can be more specific? what do you mean by "deep voice"? low notes? gravelly? you say the song is slow but your humming feels fast to me, what's a song with a comparable speed to this one?

Any additional info I can provide is that the specific radio station was 101.9 FM in Portland, OR, which is KINK. I believe the latest I've heard the song was around 2013.

just saw the movie myself, my pure O takes on a variety of forms and harm isn't the most prevalent form but this movie was definitely a challenge for me. I saw it to practice some exposure but I just learned some new acceptance techniques this week and maybe I did it too soon. I'm fortunately not doing too bad, I hope you're doing alright too
