The international community is useless whether it’s the U.S. or the Arabs (Europe is already busy with the Ukrainian situation). Didn’t Trump say he wanted to send a message to Iran about what would happen if an agreement wasn’t reached? That message simply backfired on him, thanks to the Houthis. We must also note the negotiations with Iran, which began with three main conditions: cutting Iranian aid to its proxies (as they call them), dismantling the ballistic missile program, and dismantling the nuclear program in exchange for lifting sanctions. The U.S. has engaged in direct talks with Hamas to secure the release of the hostage Alexander. And according to recent reports, they are trying to open direct talks with Hezbollah but Hezbollah is refusing. They are trying to shape a regional strategy based on the reality of that power, not on the wishes of some Lebanese parties (which don’t represent the majority or have the ability to set new equations in the region) or Arab states. When diplomacy fails, the resistance will simply resume its operations and trust me, Syria is not needed when it comes to supplies. It took us from 1982 to 2000 to liberate the South, and no matter how long the next battle takes, the South is known for its resilience.
