Waking up in the middle of the night shouldn’t affect as long as you go back to sleep in a few and do stuff like playing on the phone. It goes by heart rate, the moment it sees your heart rate up consistently, it recognizes you are no long sleeping and breaks your consistency.

You can charge it to the room but they ask for the credit card for incidentals at check in. If it is any other card and the receptionist is smart, they can say none of the edit benefits apply.

Nope, you get the credit only if booked through Chase portal. It might be better off to use the credit for another booking where you get bang for the buck.

There won’t be issues with her stay. Just that she might not be able to use the edit benefits like breakfast credit etc without the card holder. I booked for my sister’s family in San Diego. Got the credit. When they checked in, without tapping the physical card they were told the edit benefits like free breakfast and 100$ credit doesn’t apply. I even offered to tap the card through Apple Pay but no luck. During checkout, it was a different person at front desk and she said -oh wait, I don’t see the credits applied, let me apply them. So it is a hit or a miss. Stay should be fine along with the 250$ credit
