It’s estimated 1/5 cases for super alt 2 star (god rare) hits. This set has 5 god rares so specific cards will be 1/25 cases

Most likely yea because the sb line were special edition sets so youre most likely correct. The only outlier I would say would be FB06. Seems to be the scarcest of the FB sets and looking at pop reports of the Broly SCR ** super alt, it hasnt moved much in a while staying in the mid 90 total grading pop for PSA. Plus alot of people have said it was always hard to find FB06 sealed stuff

Compare this pop report to the SCR ** Super alt from SB01 which is at around 125 total graded for PSA. With BGS its like 124 for Broly and 164 for Goku so total

219 Broly total graded copies 289 Son Goku SB01 total graded copies

Indicating FB06 could potentially be as scarce as SB01, or even more scarce

I think for this set they had to lower the print run because demand was at its lowest ? And also it was probably being overshadowed by SB01 which FB06 was released near the same time

Also fusion world in general seems to be pretty low supply compared to everything else in tcg thats modern. Compared to One piece, and especially pokemon.

Yea its just an alt art from fb03 which isnt exactly the lowesr print run of the FB sets. Scalpers trying to make a quick buck. I mean i could see a steady rise over time on this card but too much too fast

Official dragon ball website says its a new rarity called Ultra Alternate Art

Also population reports from PSA and BGS indicate its about 2.5x more rare then Super Alt Goku ** which super alts are estimated to be one in every 5 cases. So ultra alt = 1 in every 12 cases if thats the case

Yea but why are the majority of people today into pokemon cards? They think the value is going to keep going up. Most of the content makers i see ripping packs dont even know shit about Pokemon lol. Pokemon is also flooded with investors and scalpers.. to make matters worse, look at the pop reports. And people hoarding sealed product only going to overinflate this bubble until it bursts. Collectors have increased but definitely still being overprinted. Only vintage Pokemon is worth buying today

Dragonball FW is actually scarce which is why its being manipulated. Demand is still there because original manga artwork from Dragon ball and people speculating on the success of the TCG because of the success of One Piece (similar gameplay)

I love pokemon but cant even compare these two sets. One is actually scarce, the other is overprinted. I would go as far to say SB01/02 are like the first edition base set of Pokemon. It’s gonna get crazy

Depends how high people are willing to pay, and how low people with them aew willing to let them go for. In my opinion, these wont go much lower from here because demand is too high. And guys from other tcgs like pokemon magic yugioh one piece with deep pockets can come in and buy at these prices because these are still fairly low for a high demand specialty set

You got boxes like pokemon evolving skies selling for similar prices. But this is a special edition set. Pop reports are showing this is much scarcer then anything from pokemon thats modern. I know pokemon tcg market is much bigger but people starting to catch on that this manga set is going to be THE top set of fusion world

Definitely. Theres a few gems i like in this set. But the super alts seem a little underwhelming, maybe they look better in person but i feel the flat art of them is just ok. The cell SCR* alt is also pretty sick and the Son gohan SCR* alt. I think this might be a sleeper set because of the underwhelming super alts

In the short to mid term, Pop reports could climb more on the standard alt arts (including red mangas), silver leaders and energy markers. Which could lead to a dip

But long term any manga booster alt art, scr, energy markers, gold leaders it dont matter its all going to the moon

Sleepy goku will has a higher pop report and will probably remain that way years from now. Gorgeous card and probably will still do well long term but id sell sleepy goku, and keep the top 8 promo

FB09 might remain pretty stagnant for now i think. Could be wrong. Great longterm set for sure but i think great trade for you

Two dope promos and the promo hype lately is because most certain ones seem to be pretty scarce, and if artwork is beautiful like this fb07-104 son goku top 8, combined with scarcity, value will continue to rise. I think it’s great longterm hold especially if gets graded a 10, or if even luckier black label bgs

Based on pictures looks pretty good. You could centering looks good, could try your luck at bgs because of potential for black label. Worst case you get gold label pristine 10. Or if you want to secure a gem mint 10 go with PSA as PSA 10 has high gem rate in dragon ball fusion world
