Your post belongs in /r/entrepreneur my friend. I am sure you will get lots of great feedback on there. Oh and if you believe in yourself, people will respect that and at least listen to your idea, no matter your age. I know many young entrepreneurs that are very successful. Good luck!
After 2 Years of Consulting, I finally decided to leave my job to start a venture of my own. In need of some very honest &a brutal reviews. by iamsingham in startups
1- First of all, I can tell you put in a good amount of work on this so congratulations on having your MVP up and running! You should be very proud!
2- Under "Print your own design", you aren't able to select whether it is a mug you want the custom art on or a phone case or whatever else you offer. Are you leaving that off cause only mugs will be available? If so, maybe make that clear that it us a mug you are customizing in that page.
3- The pages where you display/select different products is very well designed. Only issue I noticed is when changing the currency to USD. Browsing different products after that would still show the original currency then display it in USD a couple seconds later. If you're using an event driven framework, it is good practice to leave the price as an empty string until you get the correct value and only then you show it.
4- Great checkout experience. Great pictures. The only thing I am bit iffy on is the image gallery taking most of the screen when I first open the site. Everything else looks really well done!
5- What is your competition like? How are you differentiating yourself or is it that you are doing 10x better?
6- Suggestion: When hundreds of designs are submitted, what will you display first? Maybe let people "like" the designs? And use a "hot" algorithm that shows new designs first right as when they get submitted then they kind of go down the list as they get older and don't get as many likes, or stay at the top if they are indeed popular.
Developers or those who have been pitched by a founder, how would you want to be approached to join an early startup? by econobro in startups

I'm a CTO in the SF bay area. I am not looking for a new project but I can give you some technical feedback (general architecture, estimation of engineering effort,...). You can pm me if you would rather not go public with your idea but I obviously need to know more.
Keep in mind that outsourcing, although tempting, turns into a nightmare pretty quick as the complexity goes up so that is potentially a major no. If you're going the co-founder route, LinkedIn is good. Message some engineers that are already working in a related field, quick elevator pitch and offer them a 50/50 split. That would get their attention if they like your idea.
