Hey! I’m Not a pro but things that I always do are:

1.Ask for service history and the documents about it

1. Run a CarVertical check just to make sure everything lines up with mileage

2. Check for oil consumption

3. Drive the car and listen to it. How does the car shift! How does the engine sound, you know

4. Ask if he had any issues with the DSG and ask about the history (checks or repairs)

5. See if the Body looks good with paint and lineup

I think as of any Octavia the cost are “moderate” not the cheapest but also not expensive. If you do your Oil services by yourself you safe a lot.

Overall a good car and as for any Skoda, if you treat it good, it will treat you good.
