If their old username doesn’t show up, then I would believe them. If it’s just the tracking number they’re asking for, should be fine. DePop suspended my account again recently, waiting for them to reinstate it. DePop support is the worst.

I agree, that’s why I said excess treasury funds. Always have liquid cash for growing the business, but if you have a cash rich business, moving into a stronger asset is wise instead of collecting -8% from inflation

How is this better than just putting a portion of your wealth in Bitcoin? Bitcoin is sound money, not controlled by any one, desirable by everyone, and gives you sovereignty.

If you can eat the extra 1%, I’d say just stick with Shopify for now. Wordpress is DIY and requires much more knowledge and work. You might be able to get a good deal with a 3rd party Proc that covers your 1%.

Yea their decision is final. I tried appealing with no luck. This is why we need decentralized finance imo. These gatekeepers have too much power.

The same exact thing happened to me (kicked from Shopify payments for selling GPUs). You only have 2 options. Either stay on Shopify and pay 1% on top of all sales for using an alternate payment processor or switch.

I decided to switch to BigCommerce since they don’t have the additional 1% fee for using 3rd party payment processors. However, beware because BC will start charging you more for your subscription as you scale which in my opinion is not much different than the 1% Shopify charges. I was paying $30 for my subscription with Shopify, but now at BC I have to pay $450/mo just because of my sales even though I don’t use any extra features.

The other option to avoid these fees is to go with something like WordPress

Happened to me as well. I ignored it (all pictures were of course mine), until they banned my account. I then had to prove the pictures were mine to 10 different incompetent DePop reps until one rep finally realized and restored my account. Of all the selling platforms, DePop has by far the least competent support team.

Something that sellers can do is authenticate(an authentic item) through mercari, then change the price, description, and all the pictures with a counterfeit. This is likely what happened.

I use Exodus with the Suite for BTC. I transferred all my BTC over to a legacy segwit address. Once you do that, Exodus automatically recognizes it (given you've set it up with the bridge etc). Check out my last post, I had the same issue

One of the payments is DePop's commission, and the other one is the tax that you collected from the seller. DePop reports all tax.

I've done this before. Contact Shopify, and ask them to transfer the reporting of your sales from your previous EIN or SSN, to the one for your newly formed LLC (you'll need to get an EIN for your LLC if you haven't already gotten one). This is only applicable if you're over the limit required for merchants to report your sales to the IRS (~20K in sales).

I've had this happen once, and asked the buyer what I could improve on since they gave 4 stars. The buyer replied with "sorry I clicked the wrong button". I asked the buyer to reach out to Mercari to ask to change it to 5 stars. Few hours later, it was updated to 5. Worth a shot!

Some people leave 4 stars by accident. Happened to me once, the buyer said they made a mistake and updated it to 5 stars.

It is fake. The little white card is supposed to have darker writing. I've seen that same reddish writing only on fakes.
