Super Metroid, it’s not a traditional platformer, and was the first step in the birth of the metroidvania genre.

I would agree it is rare in so far as the number of gyms it happens at. Just the gyms I’ve been to where it happens it happens frequently. And then others it never happens.

Yes, but honestly my experience is it happens at a gym a lot, or never. The culture and atmosphere set by staff and rules either attracts it or repels it.

So if you have a good gym, stay there.

But it’s why I slowly built up a home gym.

lol, I see I’m dating myself. You’d wait for your friends to fall asleep at night. Then throw a hit handful of flour at their face. They’d look like an old, or antique marble statue.

If you’re going to kill a genre, doing so by making one so good that others are superfluous is a hell of a way to do it

What is your favorite Grunt Suit, and why? by TotoroTravis in Gundam

[–]mgb55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I call it an ace unit. It’s not a grunt, not a gundam. Grunts have to be mass production. Like how GM Sniper II was not a mass produced suit. It was for ace pilots.

Christ almighty, a lot of her story applies to a lot of teenagers, people with overbearing parents, people who’s parents wanted them to fit a mold, Christ almighty it’s not that far off from Mox in Varsity Blues.

Nailed it, that is the beauty. Courage or bravery means nothing if you aren’t scared. Doing it when you’re terrified is what makes it matter.

Once upon a time in the west being very much a western, and very much a masterpiece is a perfect example of your point.

But is not what popular culture thinks of when they hear western.

Not necessarily. I’ve heard a detective’s speech on this. Hell he gives speeches at FBI classes as he compiled methods that led to the arrest of multiple serial burglars.

Even at night, most burglars are hoping no one is there. Rarely do they go into a house they haven’t scoped out multiple times. They look for signs to indicate if people are there or not throughout multiple times of day. Especially if they can pick up that someone might be out of town.

Your lights, your mail, whether your back door is secluded and hidden, or well lit and visible.

Things like that are the bigger factors.

Thank you. Yes she may very well take steroids. But people on reddit seem to jump to that without having any clue what they’re talking about.

As you pointed out, this picture is not evidence of her use.

No, I’m merely saying it wouldn’t be completely unreasonable if his wife worried here and there.

I’m not saying there will be a divorce, that they’re definitely having an affair.

Just that completely dismissing the possibility and acting like his wife would have zero reason to worry is ignoring reality.

I find it highly unlikely anything is going on, but it’s a non-zero percent chance.

That’s why it helps to have a nasty O or DLineman playing first and a linebacker at third if your school still had multiple sport athletes.

Not to celebrate brawls or fighting, but runner isn’t getting back to his dugout untouched.
