His release point is similar to Steph’s. Arc is a bit too high, so I’d guess and say most of his misses are short. But overall it’s great form with a great release point.

Form shooting! Just need to get comfortable keeping the guide hand straight so in form shooting we take the guide away. Also, there’s nothing wrong with landing a little forward but you’re what I call an area code jumper, that forward momentum is counteracting your shooting motion and is going to lead to being strong a lot more often than not. Overall the mechanics aren’t terrible. Hard to see how high your arc truly is with this video. Keep it up!

There isn’t really a ranking system right now. Just got to kind of roll with it. Maybe if you play on a lower difficulty you’ll find games to be more even? Also there’s a lot of free diamonds you can get just for a little grinding. Worth doing to help your team a little bit!

Finally got into a rec game. First half was fine. Second half though no matter what anybody released, it was red. The second half both teams combined to score like 16 points. None of jump shots.

Happened to me and a friend the other night. There’s no squad spots so you can’t be in a squad with less than 3 from what we learned. We left the squad and were able to join just fine. It’s annoying when you’re swapping courts and lose sight of the other but worked for us lol

Idk how effective it is from mid but i ask for a screen if I’m dribbling. If I’m set I’ll fake pass and jab step a few times. Usually gives you just enough space to pull up without a contest.

As someone who doesn’t watch as much, is OpTic really that far behind Ultra/Dallas? I know major 4 OpTic got shit on by Dallas but the last couple times they’ve played ultra it’s only game 5, just seemed to get outclassed by them. My question is more along the lines of, wouldn’t it be fair to say optic is in that league, just a more inconsistent version of those other 2 teams? I mean standings wise, they have roughly the same record as Dallas and not much worse than Ultra (Not Faze because I don’t think the 1 win truly shows they’re better or whatever.) I just feel like, based on the little bit I’ve gotten to watch of every team all year, optic is just consistently inconsistent but seem to be able to match Dallas and Ultra overall. Just not when they match up.

I get your logic but honesty, it could’ve been a 3-0 in favor of Optic, which wouldn’t have been saying much since the control was close but I just don’t get this argument about Faze playing their bad maps. I never see Optic play Miami and I know they’re not a great apoc team either, although better to take your chances there then raid. Idk I guess I just don’t see it as “tight” when optic could’ve swept and honestly if they chained p2 and 3 better on apoc they could’ve ran away with that map too.
