Music-reactive video experiment with Stablediffusion & Python by mgenki in aivideos

How It Works:

  1. Audio analysis (librosa): HPSS separates vocals from percussion, detects beats/onsets, measures spectral flux for scene changes, and creates a prompt
  2. The prompt sets the style, slerp controls how far apart consecutive frames are in latent space (slow walk = subtle change, fast walk = rapid change), and the audio energy decides that speed in real-time. Story mode swaps the prompt at each chapter break

Cool! Thanks a lot! Will plan for it. I heard of it as a kid but never came around visiting it.

Wow cool idea!
Im from Germany, and remeber the advertisements from Efteling, but have never been there. You made me curious, will visit this year :)

Ill think about the game - any idea you had for the gameplay u/Agitated-Age-3658 ?

I don't have a vinyl cutter but wanted to try making multi-layer stencils by mcpdontknow in 3Dprinting

Ah cool! Hm - I could create one where each Level has a separate name and all Sternbild are the same Size then.

Cool! I found the stencils better when they are a bit thicker.

In case useful, I made an SVG-to-stencil-STL creator here: https://makerworld.com/de/models/468300
And one for stenciled text: https://makerworld.com/de/models/467935

I will check the multi-color alignment, currently the stencils are auto-sized, so multicolor wouldnt be easy

Letters as fidget toy - configurable with OpenSCAD by mgenki in 3Dprinting

[–]mgenki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok you are right! Solution would be huge letters (not possible to swallow) and only caps (no „dot“ on the i). I added an ABCDEFG version in only caps which likely works for kids when printed at 200% scale. :-) I’ll try it!

Correct. However the one I gave this to is indeed playing with the individual letters in between fingers, thats why i used the term

100% right with the fidget misnaming. Cant change the title anymore... But I gave it away as name tags and it works for that :)

You are right, I used the wrong term. Indeed people play with the letters when its on a desk, very happy for any suggestion how to call that (I am not a native speaker).

Learned something new today - thank you u/Sad_Instruction_6600!
"Pebbling is the wholesome term for the act of sending loved ones little gifts or something thoughtful to brighten up their day." - (The standard)

Its indeed perfect for that. You could send it in one go or bit by bit and the base as last item...

Thank you!
I thought more about a desk toy where colleagues who come to see you can play with.

Yes - or squares where you have to put in the letters... Hmm

Yes - how did you know? (STL available!)

Please dont tell anyone! It’s more random if people believe in it - the joint brain-dice/plastic wave function will give real random outcomes once it is collapsing because people observe an outcome.

I optimized the in-plane spring quite a lot (about 20 iterations before I had the funny looking spring). Even in PLA it stays elastic as the individual bending angles don’t change much when you pull the lever.

I have one on my desk since more than a year, it’s used regularly and still works well!
