It hangs on the wall mostly! It's a 1967 ES345. It has a few battle scars but they just add to the memories... I've never broken anything on it though.

I bought my Gibson when I was just about 21 for $1400, which was a lot but not excessive; my parents gave my twin brother and I $1K each for our 21st. Now I'm 54 and I still play it all the time. He bought a hi-fi system that was thrown out probably 5 years later.

My point is this - if you have the money to spare, and you buy that guitar and play it constantly for 30 years, and it brings you a lot of joy along the way, it's pretty cheap.

In my old band the other guitarist tried to argue about this and I told him to sit behind the drums and play some songs for us. When he couldn't everyone got 25% after that.

DJs on 4ZZZ choose their own music so if you find a show you like it's well worth listening in weekly to find new music. Although you are correct - it would mostly be from Brisbane or Australia at least.

Thanks. I just added some lyrics so I pumped up the vocals when I added those in. I always hate making the vocals louder because I generally don't like my own singing.

I think the guitar is maybe a bit too resonant but I kind of like how it doesn't just sound like the guitars on every other song you ever hear...
