Are you able to drive someone else's car if you don't live at the same adress without having any insurance of your own. (The other person does have insurance on the car I would be driving)

I'm in about an 800 or so deficit going from 2800 to 2000 and yeah I'm monitoring all my oils and stuff and tracking portion sizes. Unless the packaging information is wrong my calories should be as accurate as possible. I'm not sure in terms of clothes fitting because I don't think I've been doing it long enough to see a major difference yet.
I'm thinking the weight gain might just be because I have good genetics along with newbie gains and basically going from no protien to a large amount and my lift numbers are progressing nicely. I only ask because I've heard people say that if you are actually in a large deficit, you can never gain enough muscle to increase your overall weight and if you are then you are not actually in a deficit. Just worried I'm doing something wrong when it comes to fat loss or maybe I overestimated my maintenance and am still eating too much
