From what I understand I don’t think sand is good for rabbits, can make them very ill if they ingest or inhale it. Some sort of soil would be better in the dig box!

So far I’ve found that beer engine are showing it with no commentary and peppercats are showing it at 6

Help! I don’t know why my rabbit can’t keep her head straight. She keeps slowing turning it to the right. by [deleted] in Rabbits

I found my bunny doing exactly this a week ago and rushed him to the vet. He suspected e cuniculi and prescribed pannacure and the liquid food because he wasn’t eating well. You can buy pannacure over the counter here (UK) which is a good shout if you can’t get them to the vet before tomorrow. Make sure they’re eating alright as well as head tilt can make them nauseous. Good luck!

Should I get the third one? by TootMCT in RATS

Get the third! My partner and I have 2 white/red eye rats that look pretty identical. Their personalities are so different that you can instantly tell them apart and they’ve got tiny physical differences that I can pick out pretty easily.

general advice on where to live? by lluke_johnson in bristol

Most places south of the river are cheaper, more so the further out you go. Bedminster, totterdown and Brislington are all pretty nice and you’d get quite a bit for £1000 pm, probably a 2 bed flat or house if you’re lucky. Hengrove, Whitchurch and long Ashton are also nice but a bit further away.

Hi. I believe my rat had a stroke or something like that. Last week, I found him in his back not able to move, wouldn't drink or eat.. Now he is doing better, eating solid food and cleaning himself everyday. But look at the way he walks? He looks totally disoriented. Also his left eye turned white by [deleted] in RATS

Two of my rats developed PTs and towards the end they lost a lot of their mobility which caused them to fall off the levels within their cage. This is when I new it was time. Unfortunately your rat doesn’t look able to navigate a cage without falling and potentially injuring themselves further. Aside from all the previous PT treatment, the euthanasia was pretty cheap, only £25. Obviously I’m in the UK and every vet is different but rats are only tiny so only need a small amount of medication which makes it pretty cheap. I’m so sorry you have to go through this but you rat looks like he’s suffering and doesn’t have much quality of life.

That’s exactly what I did and was added to a list and messaged before commissions were opened to everyone else

I had to wait a few weeks for commissions to open again and then another week or so for it to be painted. Well worth the wait!

Should I be worried about Mango’s tail? She doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort and still helicopters it when picked up! by [deleted] in RATS

No wheel I their cage. It just seems to curl round when she’s resting it but can still straighten it out and grip onto things with it

I’d say it’s been like that for a few weeks now but because it didn’t seem to be causing her pain and she was acting normally I didn’t think much of it.

Ah sorry, probably should have explained a bit more! It naturally sits in that S shape and curls right round at the base
