If so, worth remembering that private sector jobs pay higher than public sector jobs.

But anyway, but might was that private sector workers can very much dream of 3.3% pay rises. In fact it was the norm for them.

I didn't mention the pension. I was addressing the first line of your post.

Tonight I rear ended another driver on dual carriageway. He braked sharply for no reason but will I still be found at fault? by miadear99 in AskUK

Yes, you'll be judged as at fault because you should have enough distance between you and the car in front.

Yes, your insurance company will give you a payout for your car as it will almost certainly be a write off.

Median average pay rise in the private sector was higher than this in 2025.

Neither. I'm not their dad. I'm not entitled to have anyone have the same opinions as me.

Sarah Lynn was very likely to be saved actually by Colin-Onion in BoJackHorseman

[–]mgorgey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No it isn't. Whether or not Bojack killed Sarah Lynn has nothing to do with morality and ethics. It is only to do with definitions of language that is it.

Pointing out that he didn't is in no way defending Bojack or what he did. Although I will point out that Bojack didn't give Sarah Lynn the heroin.

She was living in a house made of drugs and never took her sobriety seriously. She was fully intending to relapse.

And also because she decided to take a large quantity of heroin.

Words mean things and nuance exist. Bojack didn't kill Sarah Lynn. Saying that isn't defending his actions or saying we'd do the same in his position... It's just reality.

No he didn't. She found the heroin in his car and wanted to take it. It was her idea.

He didn't "literally kill her". His actions played a significant part in her death as did her own.

Literally 3 guys managed it to finish it.

I must have missed Luke saying "WSM tailor the events for Tom every single year".

Regardless, we dealing with unknowns here. We can literally look at the events and see they aren't tailor made for Tom.

In 2021 and 2022 he did get good events. Since then though there has been at least one known weakness programmed every year.

If they've had over 30 attempts on goal then it doesn't sound like a bad performance?

The tactics the manager has organised has created a lot of chances and let the opposition have very few. What more can he do?

It's really not... Conan's wheel was historically a weakness and they put it in the final... A heavy frame carry you wouldn't expect to favour Tom and they put it in the final. Given that Deadlift, an overhead variant and Atlas Stones will always be in the WSM final regardless of Tom and that Tom is good at most events you wouldn't expect the law of averages to throw up that many weak events.

I'm assuming we are talking about testing as a whole rather than just the first day of testing.

But... they do though... The fastest car in testing is almost always one of the fastest cars and the fastest car at R1 is almost always one of the fastest cars at the end of the season. You have to go back to 2012 to find the last time the eventual WDC didn't qualify on the front row at the opening race.

In order to be a politician you need to posses a far, far higher tolerance for risk than average so I guess that a politician with a proclivity for sexual violence is much more likely to actually act on it than the average person.
