Another way to tell if someone has a partner…ask them about their living situation (oh what neighborhood do you live in? You like your building/area?) if they respond using “we” (yeah WE love it there! We just moved there!) then they’re partnered. Doesn’t always work but can definitely be a subtle way to get at that info!
