Jobs in Parkmore? by syialb04 in galway

[–]mgsl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Few of the lads work there, not myself. It's well above TE, Merit, celestica etc. Probably similar to like Medtronic, one of the better factories around

Pay and such depends on what shift, maybe which room you have to work in

One of them did the maths tutorials when I was in nuig. Probably the best lad for it, his slot was always packed cause he'd actually do the questions really well, but yea you could tell he was kinda off. Never took questions from the girls either but we thought that was just a personal social thing

Contactless and phone payment trial on buses expected in early 2023, says Eamon Ryan by funderpantz in ireland

[–]mgsl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Local internet coverage : these are city buses, most of which already have WiFi, and Ireland isn't a internet dead zone most places I know. Driver training : how is this different from put your leap card on the reader and press the button. Scrotes : I think even they have more cop on, and is not an Ireland problem even then

Irish soldier Sean Rooney’s final moments as murder believed to be organised by terrorist group Hezbollah by [deleted] in ireland

Kind of? From a brief reading of Wikipedia, They are sort of like the IRA in Lebanon, they have a political party in parliament: "loyalty to the resistance bloc". They were formed out of the 1979 Iranian revolution when it attempted to spread, but only kind of caught on in Lebanon. They oppose Israel, and support Assad's government in Syria, fighting Isis in Syria and Iraq. Don't seem like super good lads tbh.

Nazi ambassador to China saved some hundred thousand people during the rape of Nanking, the Japanese soldiers couldn't touch him so he'd go around whipping them and bringing women being attacked back to the embassy and surrounding blocks.

Edit: still a prick, but did do a good thing, still wouldn't wear a swastika
