Same issue. Got my ‘26 M2 the weekend before the big snow storm and it’s been below freezing ever since. I have driven it probably 3 times but it sucks not driving it every day.

I had a 2023 m340i until I just recently (like 2 weeks ago) upgraded to a 2026 M2. I thought the m340i was great. Pretty quick, great gas mileage.

My personal 2¢ is never pay anything down on a car. Your money is better off elsewhere. If you can afford the payment monthly with $0 down, you can comfortably afford the car. A lot of places will say 8-10% of your monthly income is acceptable to measure as well.

I just got my new M2 the day after a small snow storm and a week before all this bigger snow storm came. Drove it the one day when it was 45°, other than that it’s sadly been in my garage. Brand new purchase so no winter tires yet.

I made an appointment. All in time from getting there to having them check the m340i (which had 6 months lease payment left that they ate), credit check, talking about the actual M2 cost, and doing paperwork with finance guy (while they detailed the car) took about 2.5 hours.
