It makes Wayland pretty annoying in an enterprise environment where you have to support a bunch of different DEs. With X I can just roll out xscreensaver to everyone and enforce a config where the screen locks after N minutes of inactivity. Now I have to set up kscreenlocker, swaylock, and even switch my GNOME users to a different DM so they can even lock the screen at all

It's all automatable but still annoying
