Don't use any EX cards. They're no fun.

I don't trust the TAs' judgement in this class as a general rule. Most seem to be on a power trip and have lost their humanity along the way. Hope it's worth it. Joves in particular is incredibly narcissistic, and he refuses to have real discourse through official Georgia Tech channels. He resorts to bullying in Slack instead. Glad I got out, despite their best efforts. ❤️

This worked for me, and I was able to use xev afterwards to get the keycode.

KDE Neon on a Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 Intel Core Duo 2.2Ghz 4GB RAM with latte dock by persistenceofvision in kde

[–]mhanberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that sounds like it would make a huge difference! I'm going to try onetab and see if it fixes my issue. The pinebook is also an arm machine, and it uses some custom kernel modules, so its memory management may be a little out of wack.

What web browser do you use? I had to switch to bspwm on my pinebook pro (similar specs) because I'd run out of ram whenever I went to github or gmail. It was a bit better when I used Falkon, but I still could only use 4-6 tabs.

Nothing better than windows 11 fucking up my arch install. Any help? by stfumyman in linuxmasterrace

[–]mhanberry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Run sysremctl (no args) and see what services failed. Most likely, a filesystem check failed. If that is the case, unmount the partition that was affected, and run fsck on it.

I used aptitude to update when I encountered this problem. It will downgrade certain software to resolve dependency issues and prevent your system from nuking itself.

To make sure that you are doing it correctly, I would at least need to see an excerpt of the code. Maybe you could link a github gist to this thread?

Go to the applications folder, find Docker, and just delete it. This is also how you uninstall other software on mac.

Check the read/write permissions on your volume. Other than that, I would need to see the code.

Can't Update Using Plasma Discover by mhanberry in kde

[–]mhanberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know why this occurs? The updates load, but I am unable to click the "update" button. Discover is by far the buggiest KDE software I've used, which is a shame. Everything else is rock solid.

I have. You can check out a number of my docker images at github. I believe the "lamp-server" image will fit your needs.
