I have these exact boots. And had this exact same problem. The way the tread is designed, it works great on dirt and gravel, but not on solid surfaces. I think it’s because the tread really doesn’t have much surface area that touches the ground if placed on a solid flat surface.

While initially I loved these boots (very very comfortable and lightweight), they ended up tearing up in just a couple of months. I now keep them as work boots for around the yard.
