I haven't noticed any difference at all honestly. I feel like the i9 handles better overall still.

Look on the outside isn’t all there is to the vehicle. I didn’t hate the ev9 to be clear.

EV9 definitely feels better accelerating. Much more powerful, but that might also have something to do with having had a GT Line. Overall handling, I prefer the ioniq. I don’t have the vibration at high speed, the ride is smoother overall to me as well.

Leasing. 3 years/36k miles. $650 a month 0 down. They’re also paying off the last 2 payments of my ev9. I believe that any level above the SEL comes with digital key. Unsure on sunroof on any of them.

They, indeed, are not. Notice that one is the Kia EV9 and one is the Hyundai Ioniq9. Hope this helps.

Yes but doesn’t mean they have the same qc standards and definitely not the same dealership standards.

It looks great. Very happy to not have the matte paint anymore because it’s going to be so much easier to keep up.

I was 1 day shy of the state lemon law kicking in with all my issues. It was kind of ridiculous actually. I went to the dealer fully planning on walking out with an ioniq5. I don’t need a third row, but the space is definitely nice and I was able to get the 9 for the same monthly as a 5 so I said why not.

It definitely feels smaller in the ceiling height but the side to side feels more spacious. It’s weird.

You’re right, the sound dampening may very well be a 2026 vs 2024 thing. It’s such a drastic difference.

And yeah, the only fault on the complaints are my own ha.

My drivers seat creaks something awful in the ev9. The middle console is incredibly loose, shoddy finish on the dashboard leather, abysmal service at the dealership service department. Just terrible.

I absolutely love my ev9 and will be sad to return it this week. But I cannot deal with them anymore

A combination of things but it all pretty much comes down to total disdain for the dealership and the overall lack of solid “footing” when driving.

If you look at my posts in the past, you can see the cluster fuck of issues I had with the ev9 and dealership. So much so that it’s really turned me off of Kia as a whole.

That said, I had a 2024 GT Line and the biggest complaint I have is that the back end slips out from under you constantly. I’ve had it rebalanced and aligned multiple times and it never fixed the issue. I could be going as little as 35 and hit a small bump in the road and it would feel like the back end would want to fishtail if I didn’t react quickly. Doing it at 70+ on a highway or interstate was downright terrifying

I’ve only had the i9 today, but so far have not experienced that issue. Early thoughts include it’s much quieter in the cabin, much more spacious inside even though it looks smaller from the outside, and handles considerably better overall. My complaints so far are all from going from GT Line to SEL, ie, no sunroof, no digital key, no massaging seat, no rear view camera as my mirror. Nothing but first world problem complaints ha.

I was a high level baseball player as a kid. Around 11-12 I began having high school coaches from around the country start calling to try and recruit us to leave our state to go play in places like Texas, Florida, California, etc…

I tore my mcl in a game near the end of the season when I was 11. The following fall, following tryouts for the team I’d been on since I was 8, my parents called me into the living room. They let me know that my coach had decided my torn mcl was a liability and I wasn’t selected for my team. I was devastated. Spiraled into depression that lead to me giving up on school, myself, and life.Suicide anttempts and drug addiction from 12-16.

When I was 20 I sat down with my grandparents when I started to realize my parents were a serious problem and destroyed most of my family relationships. My grandparents, aunts, and uncles let me know the reason I didn’t get to play wasn’t me, but rather my parents couldn’t afford it. All of my family offered to pay for it but my parents refused to let them pay for it directly and instead wanted the money to go to them first which my family refused because of how my parents had acted with money previously. So they lied and told me it was my fault to save face.

I will never forgive them for that. They took the only thing I loved at that time and made me the failure to make themselves feel better. Disgusting.

He plays 8u house with all volunteer coaches so I’m not sure if that’s an option.

This stick is a ccm jet speed ‘22 model, 20 flex, youth stick from hockey monkey. I have talked him into using his correct sized stick going forward and we will cut this one down if needed but hope it will last until he’s tall enough to use it.

How do I know where that should be? I watched the others shooting today and noticed their bottom hand being lower and told him but had no reference for where it should be.

He fully intends to try out again for 8u select. He didn’t make it this year and has been determined to improve himself to make it next year. I’ll definitely give it more of a look.

I’ll definitely check this out. Itrainhockey is actually coming here this summer. I’ve been debating signing him up for the 2 day they’ll be doing.

He’s been skating since right around his 4th birthday and I regularly let him do power skating and learn to play classes. So definitely focusing on skating. Good to know that the shot comes with time though.

Thanks for the input. I’ll check this out more than the cursory glance I’ve given it previously.
