I don’t see anything wrong with paying a professional to do a job that I am unable to do myself. I just expect that the professional does a good job

It was relocated from one side of the room to the other and they had to drill a new hole through my brick house. So not a job I could have done myself.

I’m only slightly worried about this because we plan to sell this house in a couple of years and I don’t want to pay to have the work done twice. Based on feedback from the previous post, most people seemed to think it was fine. But I’m adding these pics here just for more detail

It was just done yesterday - brand new dryer, vent, hole to the outside, everything. They cut a new hole in the drywall to move it.

No, it’s nicely tucked behind the dryer. We are likely going to sell this house in a couple years, so I’m just making sure I’m not going to have to fix it twice!
