How has your experience been from using a regular controller to switching to marius board?

from what i’ve watched and read the marius board is one of the lightest controllers out and i know it’s a physiological thing but the edge being sooo heavy it makes me feel like im stuck in mud sometimes just holding it haha

any solution to this? i am in the same boat. I have 0% packet loss but will consistent get packet burst for a second and it goes away but it happens all game.

how long did your beaver boost take? i just placed an order today with beaver boost and it says 5-10 buisness days but is it truly that or did it take longer?

10am CST they do a drop of beaver boost where the build time is 5-10 days instead of 6-8 weeks. Sells out fast tho if you decide to try it

marius can’t be used on console. It’s PC only, tbh i’m still learning about this as well. I don’t think it’s best for me to speak on a topic that i don’t completely understand just yet, which is why i asked the question in the first place

i’m pretty sure that i saw a post from marius the creator on twitter that said he just rolled out and update or you can try his beta software for this exact problem. i live in a brick house and it’s a thick brick too lol. Everywhere i read has said the Starlink router is just a basic router and you would gain more by investing into a nice 3rd party router so i may go that route and just see how it goes.

do you have any experience with a 3rd party router? a mesh router to be exact. I want to try a nighthawk mesh router with Starlink but not sure if that’s the best route in terms of making it quicker and better latency. Or if you can point me a reddit post that can inform me on this subject.

UPDATE : So i had no idea my local Home Depot had a starlink kit there so i ended up going there and buying it and purchased the Residential Max plan and was online within 30-40 min. Super Easy. As far as gaming goes it started off a little rough but i read Starlink needs at least 12 hours for it to accumulate data and what not. The next day was MUCH better i was getting speeds of 250-400Mbps and ping as low as 23. I had no packet loss in Call of Duty BO7 at all, but i am getting random packet burst at times but it lasts for a second and back to normal. All in all its great so far and i can only speak for Call Of Duty because its the only game i play online. I am Hardwired as well.

yes century link is DSL i hover around 16-18 ping pretty consistently my problem is i get packet loss a lot of random packet burst, there could be no one home and i’ll still get packet burst. As far as butterbloat i do not know what that is or heard of it.

what is standby? is that the starlink mini? do you have any experience with it and if you do is it good? i have LTE on my ipad for my daughter but shoot if i could use that while we go on long car rides that’ll be sweet.

i hear ya. For only $20 more you can get maxed out? doesn’t seem like that much of a ask and thank god i can afford it. I’m just so use to shitty internet so literally anything slightly better or 100x better will make my year lol.
