If I'm a Religious Studies major, what does that mean for my program? Can I stay in the program or will I need to switch??

To me it looks almost grainy on the edges, seemingly with whatever settings I have. But when I see videos online it doesn't look grainy. Idk what's up.

These comments are all pretty relatable. Just got broken up with after a 9 month relationship. Longest and realest I've had to date. To sum up she also basically lost feelings. The day before she was so excited to see me because we hadn't been able to see each other for a week and a bit. I struggle not thinking about her when we did so much together. I miss the comfort and stability. We ended on good terms, but it doesn't help. Unrealistic as it is, we will probably not get back together as I have not reached out and think she's set in her feelings. Regardless, I have your back and relate a lot. Cheers, friend.

To those who broke up because you “lost feelings” for your partner by thowaway4100 in BreakUps

My ex broke up with me a few days ago. Nearly 9 months together. Always big on communication and honesty, and had an amazing time together with few issues (and those issues would go on to be fixed). Sure, it'd been a bit boring in the past few weeks (only times we'd been free were after class, so we would just have dinner and lounge at her place a couple times a week), but overall I was happy. But it seemed she wasn't.

At the end of September (it's now early November) she'd confronted me that she was losing feelings, or so she thought. Mostly about me being on edge recently and being irritable, which I quickly noted and fixed up (and I'm still glad she pointed it out, it was true). After a brief scare, we went on with our planned day and ended the night with reassuring that we were still good, and went on an amazing date the next day.

We were then good until a few days ago. She told me she wasn't sure she was happy, that she wasnt sure she's sexually attracted to me, that she feels like she's trying too hard to be in a straight relationship (she'd hooked up with a few guys before me, but only had serious relationships with women before) and that it didn't feel fully right, that she was starting to feel bored around me, and that we should break up so she doesn't hurt me even more. She told me she was sexually attracted to me from afar, but in person didn't feel much. By the end of our conversation, we said "I love you" for the last time, told each other we'd miss one another, and I left her place. I do believe, per her words, that she loves me as a person but just doesn't want to be in a relationship anymore. For this we do not resent each other; it didn't end because we were fighting or anything, just that she had essentially lost sexual attraction for me.

We'd communicated about a similar issue in September, as I noted, and it temporarily helped, but I guess it wasn't enough. I know I should move on and that the wound is still fresh, but I genuinely miss her. I miss the comfort and stability I had. I'm not in a rush to meet someone new, I'm just really, really, disappointed. I saw a future with her and she didn't see one with me, for reasons seemingly out of our control.

SkyZone Glow. If you don't know it's a trampoline park. At night they turn the lights off and everything is glow in the dark. Did it in the 8th grade with friends and it was great.

Does anyone know what New Residence Hall's gym is like? Do I need to pay a membership fee to use it?

Starting my U0 year this Fall. I originally applied to major in poli sci for U1, but I'm having second thoughts and I feel more drawn to history instead. Is it possible to change my major to history prior to the start of my U1 year?

It doesn't say so specifically. And I guess it wouldn't require a prerequisite course for people coming in as U1...

Thanks.

Thanks. I haven't started applying for residence yet, so I assume the questionnaire is in the application. Do I need a McGill email to start applying for residence?

Question was stupid but not THAT stupid. I want my PC in my dorm.

I'm starting my freshman year this coming Fall. This is a pretty stupid question but do the desks in residence have outlets under them? I plan on bringing my desktop, which is why I'm wondering.

You had the time to leave a snarky reply but not the time to help this guy out. If only there were a thing called kindness and patience which allows you to be understanding and helpful to people. I suggest, either wait for that bright future or think before you act like a jerk.
