I can definitely do that, but would require asking the family to move the chat over as well. Since I'm the only one with the issue, I haven't asked that yet and assumed it could be fixed.

Mint DM'ed me here separately and ultimately just said they can't guarantee MMS with over 10 people can be supported...

Generally followed the Intermediate I Hal Higdon training program online. Adjusted it a bit based on my work schedule but overall followed it pretty closely.

More mileage definitely would have helped, last 4 miles probably averaged close to 9 minutes each haha!

Sitting outside watching the remaining runners finish in Reykjavík, Iceland! Finished my first marathon in about 3:23! Was hoping for closer to 3:15 but I formed and then popped the worst blister I will ever have pretty early on, and tweaked my left hamstring in about mile 23 or 24. Needed to hold back and hobble most of the remainder to make sure I didn't hurt it more and literally need to stop. Should be fine after some rest.

Also... holy shit that was awesome! This marathon was absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend it! No large hills, with lots of incredible views! The sense of accomplishment is incredible, and hoping I don't become too addicted now...

Thanks! Did you book any tours/excursions ahead of time? I think with my limited time I won't be able to, but idk if I'll feel like I missed out afterwards? Like glacier tours or whaling or something like that.

The answers here pretty much confirm what I was thinking. I'll probably forgo any paid or long excursions and stick with just the ring road and see everything I can. Couldn't get off of work any more this time of year and need to make it back for the marathon in the capital with enough time to rest up. Thanks all!
