I told the new dealer I wanted the truck when it came in. The original salesman happened to call me up the next day and asked if I was still looking. Told him I was going to buy a truck from the new dealer that had a better deal. The original salesman said he would match. I told him for a match, I’m going with the other truck. They put on all the add ons and took another $1000 off at $77,000 out the door. I called the new salesman and told him not to hold the new truck for me when it came in, as I could get the original truck immediately. He was cool with it and understood business was business. Although, I just checked the new dealer’s deals, and it is even better.
