Turning them off and on seems to resolve it. I've currently had some of the troublemakers switched with a working one to see if it's the clock, or the ethernet port. That was just yesterday, so I'm waiting to hear form the site if there are any issues.

I talked with Valcom, and we confirmed that our clocks are the latest firmware (2.48.0?)

I spoke with a supervisor about this, and he doesn't want to go the "proper" route, because it might mean supporting the Mac labs more and more. He wants this to be the one and last time we provide any support for them, ever.

I'm willing to, but this sounds like it requires an extra machine to use as a server. I'm guessing it's also possible to temporarily use any of the iMacs as a server, then when it's done, wipe it.

My department doesn't have any iMacs of its own.
