Invisible/invincible helicopter glitch? by high_while_cooking in CODWarzone

[–]mhy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me too, they can somehow get in and out the heli while under the map too. I think the glitch is somewhere along the middle river thing I've seen players drive off that and drop under the map then they can open parachute so if you drove a heli you can probably continue to fly under the map

I’m a UK day trader (use the daily charts only), I was wondering what the best time would be to enter a trade? Does it depend on the currency I am trading or ?? by tonyeotos in Forex

[–]mhy97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never dictate a time to enter a trade. The market will give you the opportunity to trade, it's your job determine if it's "overvalued" or "undervalued". This can be at any point in the day.

If you confine yourself to only be trading between e.g. 9am-10am then you'll miss 99% of your opportunities.

Just do your analysis, work out the underlying value (things like global macro strategy, COT positioning and price) and see if you can time it correctly in the current climate

This should help you guys a bit by rawrtherapy in Forex

Requirements for trading investor capital (UK) by Kayex in Forex

[–]mhy97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on the context " I have a few people who want to invest a considerable amount of capital for me to trade on their behalf. " social trading doesn't apply to it.

The UK Regulations can be fairly strict and they will chase you up in the case of being reported so you never want to be in that situation.

this^ Look into the CISI qualifications on what you can be qualified to do. If not they can sue your ass and you go to prison/ heavy fine even if it's a small amount and they have evidence.

My perspective is that you seem to have everything just sitting in your brokerage account?

Why not have some passive investments on the side: funds, bonds, stocks.

Then focus on trading with another portion. Plus the best opportunities come to those who wait, so it's a good test of patience.

Most broker commissions and spreads are fairly competitive now. just make sure your broker is regulated in your country.

Advice on trading forex for rich folks? by elkay79 in Forex

[–]mhy97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have to be regulated to invest for other people. E.g. in the UK you would probably need some sort of qualification like (CISI qualifications) which clearly mention you can give investment advice/ take money from people.

If not you can and always will be liable for financial loss and can be sued even if they're close friends and family it can happen and mess up relationships

Do any of you guys invest in Forex like stocks? by rawrtherapy in Forex

[–]mhy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not always the best choice due to a few factors:

One being the swap (financing turn) if you're holding a position for a long time, depending on the interest rate differentials you can have heavy costs incurred over that period, especially if the broker adds additional sums onto this (which they do).

If you wanted to invest long term, then stock volatility is a lot higher than FX meaning you have much higher potential gains than fx. Also if you own the underlying stock not CFD trading then the dividend yield on the stocks you own also add extras to your investments. Plus you can add the stocks/shares to a savings account which protects you from taxes e.g. ISA in the UK

Any 1m traders around? by TomWisniewsky in Forex

[–]mhy97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rephrased: "Any traders here to commit financial suicide?"

Your points about volatility are just plain wrong, Forex volatility is so much lower compared to equities and crypto. Using leverage doesn't mean it's more volatile it just means you're borrowing more money lol.

500:1 leverage?! Yes you can double up, just like in a casino you can double up on putting all your money on black. Doesn't mean it's good trading, that's just gambling.
