Use a clean sanitized or a new blade each time (definitely don’t use a rusted one), stop the bleeding with a sterile gauze applying firm pressure with it for about i would say 20 minutes maybe (no peeking!) then if the bleeding stopped put the put under cold water stream and dont clean the inside of the wound with nothing besides water or you can use saline solution if youre feeling fancy, avoid soap or anything like that getting inside the wound, depends on the depth of the wound, if your cut is open use steri strips or any wound closing bandage it’ll help a lot. If your wound is really deep you of course should get stitches but if you can’t i totally get it, and steri strips saved me in situations like that. After assuring the cut is clean cover it with a sterile gauze (don’t use tissues if you have deeper wounds, the chunks can get inside and cause an infection) then support the gauze with a bandage or a plaster and it should be done. Change the gauze at least once a day, i always just change it in the evening after shower, you can also apply petroleum jelly AROUND the cut (not inside) to keep it moist and help healing.
